Zeekr is a Geely brand. Previously, in August 2022, CATL announced that it would partner with Zeekr to make it the first car brand to be equipped with mass-produced Qilin batteries. Thus, the Zeekr 001 became the world’s first production model equipped with Qilin batteries capable of providing a range of more than 1000 km on the CLTC cycle.

On May 26 this year, a Chinese user posted a video on Weibo with a real estimate of the battery life of the Zeekr 001 WE version. The user has set the air conditioner in the car to 23°C and the energy recovery level to low. He left Golmud, Qinghai Province, then returned. He drove the car until the battery was completely discharged for 11 hours, and at the same time he passed a high-altitude section.
