Zombie Army 4: Dead War gets a patch for PS5, and the update will reach Xbox Series X and S on April 8
Rebellion has announced the release of an update to the co-op shooter Zombie Army 4: Dead War for PlayStation 5. Owners of Sony consoles’ current generation can already enjoy increased performance, resolution, and download speed. On Xbox Series X and S, the update will be released on April 8th.
Now in Zombie Army 4: Dead War on PlayStation 5, the resolution has increased to dynamic 4K (may drop to maintain a stable frame rate), and the performance has been increased to 60 fps. The download times have also been reduced.
On Xbox Series X, downloads will also be shorter, and there will also be two play modes in the settings:
- “Quality” – dynamic resolution 4K at 60 frames / s;
- Performance – 1080p @ 120fps (120Hz display with HDMI 2.1 required).
On Xbox Series S, after the update, the game resolution will be dynamic 1080p @ 60fps and with faster downloads.
Also, the update includes numerous fixes for the Death Canal, Deeper than Hell, and The Fan missions and added crossplay to the PC version from the Microsoft Store. Users of the latter can now accompany players on Steam and Epic Games Store.
As a reminder, Zombie Army 4: Dead War is now available on PlayStation Plus, and on April 8, it will be added to the Xbox Game Pass catalog.
Zombie Army 4: Dead War was released on February 4, 2020, on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
