ZTE is preparing a smartphone ZTE Axon 20 4G with a sub-screen camera and a strange processor

A couple of months ago, ZTE unveiled the world’s first smartphone with a front-facing camera hidden under the screen, the Axon 20 5G. Unfortunately, the quality of the images taken from the selfie module leaves much to be desired. However, ZTE has no plans to stop there and is reportedly preparing a more affordable version of the smartphone.

The company is reported to be unveiling the Axon 20 4G soon, which will be available in the global market. It is curious that the Huben T618 chipset from Ziguang Zhanrui will be used as the hardware platform. It includes two Cortex A-75 cores with a clock speed of 2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores operating at a frequency of 1.8 GHz. The chip is made using a 12-nm process technology. Recall that the original model uses the popular Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G.

The rest of the device will repeat the Axon 20 5G. The phone will receive a 6.92-inch display with Full HD + resolution and the main camera consisting of four sensors. The exact date of the start of sales and the cost of the ZTE Axon 20 4G are still unknown, however, it is assumed that the device will be more affordable than the 5G model and will appear on the market in the near future.
