According to the manufacturer, the introduction of Wi-Fi 6, which provides increased wireless network speed, increases the load on existing equipment. The key to unlocking the potential of Wi-Fi 6 is a high-speed core network.

Most gigabit switches typically provide 1GbE or 10GbE connection speeds, which limits flexibility when adding 2.5GbE or 5GbE devices.

Zyxel XS1930 switches support all the listed speeds. The presence in the network of devices supporting different speeds, cables of different lengths and quality often leads to heterogeneous performance, making it difficult to determine the actual speed of each connection.

For the first time in the industry, the XS1930 Series offers five-colour LEDs to help network administrators instantly determine the actual port speed.

The growing proliferation of mobile devices, IoT and WiFi 6 devices and their diverse applications has also raised the bar for backbone power requirements. The XS1930-12HP supports the latest IEEE 802.3bt (PoE ++) standard with a power budget of up to 375 watts.

The XS1930 series includes two models: XS1930-10 with 8 Multi-Gig ports and 2 fibre-optic uplinks, and XS1930-12HP with 8 Multi-Gig PoE ports, 2 Multi-Gig ports and 2 fibre-optic uplinks.
