343 Industries Hints Halo: The Master Chief Collection Coming Soon On Another Platform

The latest post from 343 Industries’ Halo Waypoint blog hinted that Halo: The Master Chief Collection would be coming to a new platform. This week, the studio announced the upcoming new testing of the popular Halo shooter anthology.

In the Halo Waypoint blog, the studio noted that the next phase of testing would begin in late February or early March and offer “a new place and way to play” More details are not yet available, but Halo fans, when discussing on social media, suggest that Halo: The Master Chief Collection will appear on the Epic Games Store. Others hope (albeit more subtly) that the collection will appear on the Nintendo Switch console – the “way to play” may indeed hint at portability.

Bringing the shooter collection to EGS makes sense – after all, the kit’s popularity on Steam shows a noticeable interest in the series’ shooters on PC. Halo’s new build: The Master Chief Collection, in addition to the mysterious new platform, promises the appearance of adjusting the camera angle, the ability to change the key bindings and controls, mouse and keyboard support on consoles, and other innovations.

It is worth noting that the developers made a reservation: “Everything can change” Let’s hope that we won’t have to wait long for innovations.
