Already eleven smartphone manufacturers in China are running EMUI 10.1. In addition, ten more models will receive the latest firmware version by the end of next month.
European residents are not so lucky. Huawei P40 and P40 Pro are the only smartphones that work on a stable version of EMUI 10.1. But very soon it will change. This weekend, it became known that the company has begun distributing a global version of the software for five smartphones.
Lucky owners of the flagship series Huawei P30 and Mate 30, as well as mid-range models Huawei nova 5T. Huawei P30 and P30 Pro are based on the Kirin 980 mobile processor. For them, the update takes place under the number v10.1.0.119. Size is 1.77 GB. On the basis of the same single-chip system, Huawei nova 5T also functions, for which the firmware has the number v10.1.0.215. The update file size is also 1.77 GB.
Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro received a 7-nanometer Kirin 990 processor. For these two models, firmware v10.1.0.230 was released. The file size is 4.26 GB. In addition to the latest version of the proprietary software, EMUI 10.1 update brings a security patch for April of this year.
