6 minutes of Last Stop gameplay from the creators of Virginia

Developers of Variable State (known by Virginia You ) and Annapurna Interactive publishing in 2019 provided Last Stop plot adventure for PC and consoles (so far confirmed only Xbox One). Although the project was originally supposed to be released in 2020, it was postponed to 2021. The creators have shared a 6-minute video.

The gameplay resembles interactive adventures from Quantic Dreamlike Detroit: Become Human: during the moments of the hero’s actions, it is proposed to press the keys in time, and when communicating with other characters, to choose various interaction options that directly affect the development of the plot.

Set in London today, Last Stop follows the interconnected stories of three protagonists controlled by the player: brooding high school graduate Donne, middle-aged single father John, and ruthlessly ambitious professional Min. Players will have to look at the world through their eyes and find out where each story will lead.

Last Stop is produced by BAFTA laureate Lyndon Holland and performed by the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. All conversations in the game are voiced. The developers’ previous game, 2016 Virginia Silent Detective, was praised for its music and deep storyline but scolded for its lack of gameplay and technical issues.
