Small design differences put the OnePlus 8 Pro ahead
Both the OnePlus 8 Pro and the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro are very similar to each other, their manufacturers equip them with the best materials, as well as a high-quality design. Both have a body made of glass, aluminium frames, and a curved design screen.
Similarly, the two arrive with bright colours, although those of the OnePlus is more vibrant, while those of the Mi 10 Pro are soberer. Also, both bet on a vertical camera module, and a screen perforation for the front camera.

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is not that it is lame in the screen, because its specifications are also excellent, but here we look for the best between the two. Thus, the Mi 10 Pro equips a Super AMOLED panel with Full HD + resolution, and a 90 Hz refresh rate, not bad, certainly. And the maximum brightness? 500 nits for the Mi 10 Pro, a figure that is far behind the One Plus.
Both are HDR10 + certified. It’s also true that some OnePlus 8 Pro users have reported display issues, but the company will take over entirely.
The cameras: the OnePlus 8 has the best wide-angle sensor, but the Mi 10 Pro stands out with a 108 MP sensor
We come to one of the most important sections in these market levels, cameras. In the middle of 2020, a flagship without a good camera has no chance of anything. Luckily, both the OnePlus and the Xiaomi have excellent cameras, and each one is great in something, so we give a tie.
The OnePlus 8 Pro equips four rear cameras, led by a 48 MP main sensor with omnidirectional PDAF and OIS. Then an 8MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, PDAF and OIS is added. Next comes the star of the OnePlus 8 Pro, its 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 116-degree vision and PDAF. This sensor is a delight in every way, and with it you will be the king of photographs that must cover large shots. Finally, the OnePlus 8 equips a 5 MP depth sensor.
For its part, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro also equips four rear cameras, but it stands out in the photos with zoom and in the great resolutions. In this way, the 108 MP sensor with PDAF and IOS of the Mi 10 Pro is its main weapon, and it is excellent. In addition, it comes with a dual telephoto sensor , something that is rarely seen today. One is a 12MP sensor with 2x optical zoom and Dual Pixel AF, and the other is an 8MP sensor with 5x hybrid zoom, PDAF, and OIS. Finally, the Mi 10 Pro equips a 20 MP ultra-wide-angle.
And did we forget the selfie cameras? Obviously not. At this point, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro wins with a 20 MP front camera, but the OnePlus 8 Pro closely follows it with 16 MP.
The OnePlus 8 Pro and the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro are beasts in performance and connectivity
Honestly, it is impossible to give a verdict on performance issues. Both are mobile with exceptional performance for any task, and their specifications are identical. In fact, the only difference in performance will be made by the optimization of each manufacturer for MIUI (Xiaomi) or OxygenOS (OnePlus).
Both have a Snapdragon 865 with Adreno 650 graphics as an engine, as well as RAM in LPDDR5 format and UFS 3.0 storage. Both come in capacities of 8 and 12 GB of RAM. However, the internal storage of the OnePlus 8 is 128 or 256 GB, while that of the Xiaomi is 256 or 512 GB.
In terms of connectivity, the inclusion of the SD865 makes both phones compatible with the new 5G network. They both have dual-band WiFI AX, under-screen fingerprint reader, NFC, GPS + GLONASS, and a few other things. The only thing that the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro has is that it has an infrared port.
Similar battery, but Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro has a better charging system
Another section where there are certain similarities between these mobiles is in the energy sector. The OnePlus 8 Pro has a 4510 mAh capacity battery, and it comes with 30W fast charge, 30W wireless charge, and 5W reverse wireless charge.
For its part, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro has a 4500 mAh battery, a difference that is certainly marginal. In something that does surpass the OnePlus is in the wired fast charge since the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro has an incredible 50W fast charge. Meanwhile, 30W wireless charging repeats, as well as 5W reverse wireless charging.
Is the OnePlus 8 Pro or the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro better?

The OnePlus 8 Pro is for sale on Amazon for 909 euros for the 8GB + 128GB version. They are 90 euros apart, but it arrives without extra gifts and half of the storage. Even so, it is still a fantastic mobile, which generally surpasses the Xiaomi. Without hesitation it would be our recommendation if yours is the consumption of multimedia content and games, that screen is worth everything.
