Google Pixel smartphones will no longer be hot and throttling?

It improves energy efficiency

The Tensor G3 single-chip system should be significantly more productive than the first and second-generation platforms, which differ little from each other. In addition, according to new data, Google’s new SoC may be much more energy efficient.

Insider Revegnus says that the Tensor G3 will be the first SoC that Samsung will produce using FO-WLP packaging technology. Thanks to this, the SoC will be more energy efficient and potentially cooler than previous generations of Google platforms.

Google Pixel smartphones will no longer be hot and throttling.

For potential buyers of the new Pixel, this is good news, since Tensor and Tensor G2, among other things, are characterized by quite noticeable heating and, as a result, throttling.

As a reminder, Tensor G3 includes one Cortex-X3 core, four Cortex-A715 cores, four Cortex-A510 cores, and an Immortalis G715 GPU with 10 cores.

Insider Revegnus was the first to publish a photo of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 before its release and also described the characteristics of the Exynos 2400, which were then confirmed in Geekbench software.
