Smartphone predicted platform MediaTek Dimensity 800U
The Honor brand, which has split from Huawei, is preparing for the release of a new representative of the flagship series Honor V40. Its existence is confirmed by a Chinese blogger who posted a photo of a retail box on Weibo.

As noted by Song Jingting, the model under the somewhat controversial name Honor V40 Lite Luxury Edition will debut in the very near future.
It is also noted that the smartphone is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 800U single-chip system and looks very much like the Huawei Nova 8. Thus, the Honor V40 Lite Luxury Edition will be in a more affordable price range than the original Honor V40.
The flagship model Honor V40 was unveiled at the end of January 2021. The international debut of the adapted version called Honor View 40 is expected in April. According to preliminary data, the Honor View 40 will mark the return of Google services and applications to the international market for Honor smartphones.
