Grayson County High School’s Family and Consumer Science (FCS) teacher, Cody Mooneyhan, has received a prestigious nomination for the National Association of Teachers FCS Award of Merit. Representing Kentucky, Mooneyhan’s nomination acknowledges her significant contributions to the field of Family and Consumer Sciences and her exceptional leadership within the Association of Career and Technical Educators (ACTE) and the National Association of Teachers FCS.

The final winner of the national award will be announced at the ACTE Vision conference scheduled for December. The recipient will be honored with a lifetime membership to NATFCS.
In addition to her nomination, Mooneyhan holds dual leadership roles as a member of the KACTE State Board and the KATFCS State Board, where she serves as the FCS Service Area Vice President.
