A few more smartphones Huawei and Honor received a significant update EMUI 10.1
Huawei has begun distributing beta versions of EMUI 10.1 firmware for smartphones in the Huawei Nova 5 line, as well as the Honor 20S, which includes several new features and visual innovations. More specifically, the update has become available for the following smartphone models:
- Huawei Nova 5
- Huawei Nova 5 Pro
- Huawei Nova 5i Pro
- Huawei Nova 5Z
- Honor 20S
Since the EMUI shell on Honor devices comes out under the name MagicUI, the Honor 20S received MagicUI 3.1, which is a modified version of EMUI 10.1. Owners of these smartphones will receive a new 3D icon display mode, a new animation of a fingerprint scanner on the screen, an updated multi-screen mode, as well as the ability to use a paired computer to answer calls.
The new version of EMUI has its voice assistant from Huawei called Celia, the MeeTime video call application, a large number of settings for the always-on display, the ability to share photos and videos on different Huawei devices on the same network, and much more.
