Rumors and leaks about a 20GB GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card, which may come under the name RTX 3080 Ti or Super, appeared shortly after the current version’s release. Then there was data about the launch, after – information about the cancellation, but today the results of testing this adapter appeared on the Web. Recall that Nvidia as a whole needs the adapter for the marketing fight against the Radeon RX 6800 XT, which has twice as much memory as the current RTX 3080.

Colorful manufactured the test adapter, so these are not some prototypes of Nvidia itself. It should be noted that the software identified the card as an RTX 3080 with core frequencies like the RTX 3090 (1395-1695 MHz), but with 20 GB of memory. And the source also used some engineering version of the graphics driver, so the leak should still be treated with caution. 

The test adapter has 10,496 CUDA cores (like the RTX 3090) and a 320-bit memory bus. This all coincides with the data of numerous leaks and rumors. In 3DMark, this adapter is not particularly slower than the RTX 3090, which is expected.  

Everything is the same in games: the new product is as close as possible to its older sister, although the difference between the RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 is often not great even now.
