E Ink Holdings, the demand for electrophoretic panels

The company E Ink Holdings (EIH), specializing in the production of electrophoretic panels, claims that the demand for them is growing. These panels, also known as electronic paper, are used in e-readers, electronic labels for shelves in stores, signboards and other display devices.

However, according to company management, the spread of coronavirus has affected the supply chain. In this regard, EIH revenue declined in February compared with January by 31.5% and amounted to approximately 22.1 million dollars.

Expecting that the work of the EIH manufacturing enterprise in China will recover by 90% by the end of March, the company acknowledges that the supply situation will improve no earlier than in April.

On the other hand, since the spread of coronavirus has increased the need for training and work at home, the company expects an increase in demand for color screens for e-books.
