Windows 10 21H2 will have Aero Shake disabled by default
Microsoft developers continue to get rid of not too popular applications and functions of the Windows 10 software platform. Earlier, some applications, such as Paint and WordPad, will become optional and can be removed. Now, however, network sources are reporting the intention of developers to disable the Aero Shake feature, with which you can close all inactive application windows by “shaking” the active window.
The Aero Shake feature first appeared in Windows 7 and later migrated to Windows 10. It is easy to use, but probably in some cases, it can be unintentionally activated by the user. It became known that this feature will be disabled by default after installing the functional update Windows 10 21H2, which is to be launched this fall. The recently released preview indicates this builds of Windows 10, in which the mentioned feature is disabled.
It is worth noting that you can continue to use the Aero Shake function, but for this, it must be activated in the settings or using the registry editor. The abandonment of the use of Aero Shake can be explained by the fact that with the release of functional update 21H2, which is being developed under the code name Sun Valley, new multitasking features are expected to appear. For example, users will be able to drag windows of different applications to the corners of the screen. The windows themselves will automatically resize to ensure that they can comfortably work with several applications simultaneously.
