All of these services are owned by Facebook.

This is 2/3 of the total number of Internet users.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg (Mark Zuckerberg) said that in the last quarter when many people switched to remote mode, the active user base of its services has grown significantly and now amounts to 3 billion people.

Last month, more than 3 billion Internet users connected to at least one of the Facebook applications or services. We are talking about active users of social networks Facebook and Instagram, as well as WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger instant messengers.

3 billion users approximately correspond to 2/3 of the total number of Internet users worldwide. This is a truly impressive result.

The company has just announced the results of the first quarter of 2020, during which it received $ 17.74 billion in revenue. A year earlier, revenue was $ 15.08 billion.

Mark Zuckerberg added that the use of voice and video calls has doubled. Despite competition from Zoom or Teams, group video calls have grown by 1000% in recent weeks.

Recall, Facebook launched its competitor Zoom: up to 50 people can chat in Messenger Rooms without Facebook accounts.
