Announcement may take place in August
According to rumors, Sony may introduce a new version of the PlayStation 5 console in August. Now, on Amazon UK, the familiar version has been renamed the PlayStation 5 Standard Console, which hints at an imminent announcement.
The new console is expected to generate less heat and consume less electricity. Slim versions of consoles have also been a common sight for Sony over the past two decades.

Earlier it was reported that the new version of the PlayStation 5, which may be called PS5 Slim, will be sold in parallel with a removable optical drive.
In addition, there are rumors that Sony is working on a more powerful console called the PlayStation 5 Pro.
