Analysts: The Witcher 4 will be released in late 2025, will receive two paid add-ons and possibly multiplayer
The well-known Polish resource Stockwatch.pl has published an analytical material on the future activities of CD Projekt RED. In it, the site experts suggested that the studio will release The Witcher 4. Moreover, they even named the approximate release dates and talked about the content support of the game.
According to analysts, after the release of Cyberpunk 2077, the company will be engaged in plot additions to its upcoming action RPG. There will be three of them in total, which, by the way, does not contradict the statements of CDPR. The developers will then switch to multiplayer for Cyberpunk 2077, which, according to Stockwatch.pl, will become available to players in late 2022. And then the Polish team will allegedly tightly take on the production of The Witcher 4.
Analysts believe that the release of the fourth “The Witcher” will take place in the last quarter of 2025. Then the game will be equipped with two storyline expansions, like Wild Hunt. And in 2026–2027. it could get multiplayer if the multiplayer for Cyberpunk 2077 works well.
There is no doubt that The Witcher series will return yet. CD Projekt RED itself spoke about its intention to develop the franchise in the future. There were even rumors about Ciri as the protagonist of the new part of The Witcher. However, in what form it will return and whether Stockwatch’s predictions will come true is currently not known for certain.
