Recall that the release of Guilty Gear: Strive was expected at the end of 2020; however, due to the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, the release was scheduled first at the beginning of 2021 spring and eventually on April 9.

The developers will not have time to prepare the game for release within the specified time frame as it became known. It is planned that Guilty Gear: Strive will go on sale on June 11 this year.

Following the project’s transfer, the start of early access for buyers of extended and full editions was postponed. These users will start playing Guilty Gear: Strive three days before release – June 8th.

Apparently, this time the delay is not related to the consequences of the pandemic. A call to players regarding the transfer says it has received “valuable feedback” from the recent open beta.

“We need more time to polish some aspects of the game, including the online lobby and server stability,” – outlined its task for the coming month’s Arc System Works.

Guilty Gear: Strive is being developed for PC (Steam), PS4, and PS5. Despite the postponement, pre-orders’ collection was not suspended – the game remained available for purchase on all target platforms.
