These technologies will be enabled by default
Remnant II, which was the first game to include DLSS, FSR and XeSS upscaling technologies by default to increase performance, was released only about a month ago, and now it became known about the second game, where the same situation will take place, except for XeSS support will not be.
The game is called Immortals of Aveum and it will be the first to be released on Unreal Engine 5.1 with support for both major engine technologies: Nanite and Lumien. True, either for this, or for the laziness of developers, players will have to pay with performance.
Another game where even a GeForce RTX 4090 won’t be enough?
Recommended system requirements even in the base version include Radeon RX 5700 XT or GeForce RTX 2080 Super! Yes, these are requirements for Full HD resolution at 60 fps, but still it’s only Full HD. To play 4K at 60fps you will need an RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XT, while an RTX 4090 or RX 7900 XTX should be enough for the same resolution but at 120fps. Recall that this is how everything will work when DLSS 3 or FSR 2.2 is activated. Without upscaling technologies, performance will be lower.
The game will release on August 22 on PC and current-gen consoles, which will also run FSR. The first preliminary reviews suggest that gamers are unlikely to be interested in the plot and the main character, but playing Call of Duty with Magic, as the developers themselves describe their project, is very fun.
