Redmi introduced a new smartphone Redmi 9 Power to the Indian market, the peculiarity of which is reflected in the name – it received a large-capacity battery, 6000 mAh. One would think that Redmi 9 Power will become a clone of the Chinese Redmi Note 9 4G, but this is not the case: smartphones differ in memory configurations and main camera.

Redmi 9 Power has a 6.53-inch Full HD + screen protected by tempered Gorilla Glass 3, Snapdragon 662 platform, 4 GB of RAM, and 64-128 GB of internal flash memory, as well as Android 10. Versions with 6 and 8 GB RAM, like the Redmi Note 9 4G, is not provided.
The main camera is represented by sensors with a resolution of 48, 8, 2, and 2 megapixels (the Redmi Note 9 4G does not have an 8-megapixel sensor). The front camera uses an 8MP sensor. The 6000 mAh battery supports 18W charging, but the charger that comes with the smartphone produces 22.5W. The smartphone also received a side fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and a standard headphone jack. The device weighs 198 grams.
The cost of the Redmi 9 Power is $ 150 (64 GB version) and $ 165 (128 GB version). Local sales start on December 22nd.
