Another possible release date for Far Cry 6 appeared on the web – April 30
A Reddit user under the pseudonym Timtendo12 noticed that a Far Cry 6 pre-order page appeared on the website of the Belgian online store Proxis, indicating the release date of the game.
Recall that the sixth numbered part of Ubisoft’s shooters in the open world was supposed to be released on February 18, 2021, but due to complications due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the release was postponed until next fiscal year.
Shortly after confirmation of the transfer, a new possible release date appeared on the Microsoft digital store site – May 26, 2021. The mentioned day falls on an extremely uncharacteristic Wednesday for the release of blockbusters.
According to Proxis, Far Cry 6 will go on sale on April 30th. This date also fits into the framework set by Ubisoft and, among other things, falls on the most popular day of the week among major releases – Friday.
Users in Far Cry 6 will get the role of a resident of the fictional tropical country of Yara named Dani Rojas. The hero (or heroine) will have to challenge the despots who oppress their people.
The developers promise “the largest playground in Far Cry history”, the ability to ride a horse and take control of the tank, as well as “unique and amazing new weapons” and animal companions.
Far Cry 6 is being created for PC (Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Google Stadia cloud service. The game is currently only available for pre-order on PC.
