Another step towards the death of Internet Explorer. Microsoft Teams is ending support today

This means the web version of Microsoft Teams stops working with IE11. Microsoft warned about this step back in August. And, now, the day of the end of support has come.

Also, starting August 17, 2021, the remaining Microsoft 365 apps and services will end support for IE 11. After these dates, Microsoft 365 users will experience functional limitations when using Internet Explorer 11 or even be unable to connect to the services at all. New Microsoft 365 features will not be available immediately, and existing ones may not work.

As noted by Microsoft, version 11 of Internet Explorer has been around since 2013, when the online environment was much less complex than it is now, and since then, web standards and browsers have improved.
