Apple came up with a MacBook with a huge touchpad and a removable keyboard

Apple is probably thinking about ditching the keyboard or at least using a detachable magnetic keyboard in future MacBook Pros. The patent uncovered by PatentlyApple contains intriguing ideas for the next generation of MacBook Pro and Air.

The patent says that instead of the usual physical keyboard in future laptops of the company, a detachable panel with an adaptive touchscreen display can be used, which can display different sets of keys depending on which application is currently running and also act as a huge trackpad. It is also reported that the touch panel supports Swype input technology, which allows you to register input when you continuously swipe the keys, and not just when they are pressed.

Among other things, the patent hints that a wireless charger for the iPhone may be integrated into upcoming laptops. Unfortunately, judging by the data published in the patent application, the set of physical connectors for upcoming computers will become even more scarce.
