Apple requires acceptance of age restrictions
Apple has blocked updates to the BlueMail email client app from the App Store. Software developers associate the blocking with the introduction of the ChatGPT chat bot.
Officially, Apple explained the block by saying that developers need to review the age rating of the application as software for persons over 17 years old or implement content filtering, since BlueMail may create content that is not suitable for all audiences. At the same time, the developers do not agree with such a decision, but not because it is unfounded, but because it allegedly applies only to them.

The developers add that many other applications promoting ChatGPT-based features are available in the App Store without any age restrictions.
DA Davidson analyst Thomas Forte believes that this behavior by Apple may indicate that the company will carefully review applications with an integrated ChatGPT chatbot.
