Today is a historic event for Apple – the company will confirm its desire to get rid of Intel processors and switch to its own platforms with a real product. It is rumored to be a 13-inch MacBook Pro, but surprises are possible.

This announcement by Apple is arguably the most classified of this year. If we knew a lot about the iPhone SE 2020 or iPhone 12 before the announcement, then rumors about the new MacBook Pro are extremely scarce. So, the laptop is credited with a processor with 8 or 12 cores, increased performance (which is not surprising, given the use of the eighth generation 4-core Intel processors in the current model) and increased autonomy (and this is also easily predicted by the transition to a 5-nanometer SoC).
