ASUS Coming Soon to Unveil ROG Strix & TUF Gaming Laptops Powered by Tiger Lake-H, Ryzen 5000 & GeForce RTX 30 Series

In recent weeks, many leaks have appeared on the web about the upcoming ASUS gaming laptops, which will be presented next week at CES 2021. It is worth noting that this year the exhibition will be held online due to the coronavirus pandemic. ASUS did not wait a bit for the event and shared the first official details about the upcoming ROG Strix and TUF Gaming gaming laptops.

The new gaming devices will be based on Intel Core Tiger Lake-H and AMD Ryzen 5000 mobile processors based on Zen 3 architecture. In terms of graphics, the gaming novelties will boast NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30xx graphics cards based on the Ampere architecture. The series will include the TUF Gaming FX516PM laptop, the first information about which appeared in early December. According to reports, the device will receive a Core i7-11370H processor, 16 GB of RAM, a 512 GB solid-state drive and a GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card. The maximum processor frequency is expected to reach 4.8 GHz.

As for the ROG Strix series laptops, they will be equipped with various Ryzen 5000 processors, up to the Ryzen 9 5900H. It is an eight-core 16-thread processor with a base clock speed of 3.3 GHz, capable of going up to 4.64 GHz. ROG Strix laptops will be equipped with up to 32GB of RAM, up to 1TB of SSD and graphics cards up to GeForce RTX 3080. In addition, the display can be selected from three options: Full HD with a refresh rate of 300Hz, new 165Hz 2K panels and 4K with a 60 Hz refresh rate.
