ASUS is preparing a TUF Gaming A17 laptop based on AMD Ryzen 7 5800H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060

On the websites of European network retailers, information has appeared about the ASUS TUF Gaming A17 laptop, which uses the not yet officially released AMD central processor and NVIDIA graphics accelerator.

In particular, the laptop with the FA706QM cypher uses a Ryzen 7 5800H chip with eight processing cores operating at 3.0 GHz with the possibility of increasing to 4.3 GHz. The graphics subsystem includes a GeForce RTX 3060 Mobile graphics card with 6 GB of GDDR6 memory.

The laptop is equipped with a 17.3-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The base variant carries 8 GB of DDR4 RAM and a 512 GB solid-state drive.

Among other things, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless adapters, a USB 3.2 Type-C port, three USB 3.2 Type-A connectors, as well as a standard 3.5 mm audio jack are mentioned. In addition, there is a backlit keyboard.

The dimensions of the novelty are 399 × 268 × 22.1-23.9 mm, weight – 2.6 kg. The laptop will ship with the Windows 10 operating system.

Obviously, the official presentation of the new ASUS TUF Gaming A17 laptop will take place in the near future. The price has not yet been announced.
