ASUS ROG Phone 3 has a hidden 160Hz screen mode

The XDA-Developers resource reports that the ASUS ROG Phone 3 gaming-grade smartphone has a special operating mode with an increased display refresh rate.

Recall that the ROG Phone 3 game phone debuted last week. The device is equipped with a 6.59-inch AMOLED Full HD + screen with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels. The computing load is entrusted to the powerful Snapdragon 865 Plus processor clocked at 3.1 GHz.

The ROG Phone 3 display has officially announced a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. In this case, you can choose more economical modes 120, 90, or 60 Hz.

But as it turns out, the handset also supports 160Hz refresh rates. This is the highest figure for modern cellular devices.

The procedure for activating 160 Hz mode can be found here. After performing the necessary operations, the corresponding item will appear in the screen refresh rate settings menu.

We add that the ROG Phone 3 gaming smartphone carries onboard up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, a flash drive with a capacity of up to 512 GB, a triple main camera with a 64-megapixel sensor and a front camera based on a 24-megapixel sensor.
