ASUS unveils professional 27-inch ProArt Display PA278CV

ASUS has expanded its ProArt series of monitors with the new 27-inch ProArt Display PA278CV. Gamers are unlikely to be interested in the novelty, since the maximum refresh rate of the display is only 75 Hz, and it itself has a rather long response time of 5 ms (GTG). However, professional users might like the monitor.

The ASUS ProArt Display PA278CV benefits from colour fidelity and productivity features. It has received Calman Image Quality Certification, is factory calibrated for Delta E <2, and offers 100% sRGB and Rec 709 colour space coverage.

The monitor is based on a 27-inch IPS-matrix with a WQHD resolution (2560 × 1440 pixels). The set of interfaces consists of a combined USB Type-C with support for the transmission of up to 65 W of power, one HDMI, two DisplayPort, as well as a USB hub and one 3.5 mm audio jack for connecting headphones.

The ProArt Display PA278CV  is fully adjustable. It is possible to change the height of the screen within 150 mm and the angle of inclination in the range from -5 to 35 °. Swivel to the sides is performed at a wide angle of 90 ° instead of the usual 30-45 ° for most monitors.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not provide information on when the monitor will be on sale and how much it will cost. However, the novelty has already appeared on the official ASUS website, so it is very likely that it will be available in stores by the end of this month.
