ASUS VA229QSB Eye Care monitor can be used in portrait orientation
ASUS has expanded its range of monitors with the VA229QSB Eye Care family, which is suitable for everyday office work, games, and entertainment. It is based on a Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels) IPS matrix with a diagonal of 21.5 inches.
The panel has a refresh rate of 75 Hz and a response time of 5 ms. Adaptive-Sync / FreeSync technology is responsible for improving the smoothness of the image. The brightness was 250 cd / m 2 , the contrast – 1000: 1 dynamic contrast – 100 000 000: 1. The horizontal and vertical viewing angles reach 178 degrees.
At the service of the game, lovers are the ASUS GamePlus toolkit: it includes a crosshair, a timer, a frame counter, and a picture alignment tool in multi-display configurations.
Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free technologies are responsible for reducing eye strain during prolonged use. The monitor can be used in both landscape and portrait orientations. It is possible to adjust the angles of inclination and rotation of the display, as well as its height. The panel can be hung on the wall if required.
The equipment includes 2-watt stereo speakers, HDMI 1.4, D-Sub, and DisplayPort 1.2 interfaces. Dimensions with stand are 490 × 293–423 × 211 mm.
