ASUS VG248QEZ gaming monitor has a 1ms response time
ASUS has announced yet another gaming-grade desktop monitor: the VG248QEZ model measures 24 inches diagonally and has a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, which corresponds to the Full HD format.
The novelty belongs to the entry-class solutions. A TN matrix with horizontal and vertical viewing angles up to 170 and 160 degrees, respectively, is used. The brightness is 350 cd / m 2, the contrast is 1000: 1, and the dynamic contrast is 80,000,000: 1.
The panel has a 1ms response time (GTG) and a 144Hz refresh rate. The claimed 100% coverage of the sRGB colour space. Flicker-free technology helps you get rid of flickering.
Proprietary GamePlus tools are provided – a crosshair and a timer. The equipment includes 2 W stereo speakers, DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4 and Dual-Link DVI interfaces. In addition, there is a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.
The stand provides complete freedom of settings: you can change the angles of tilt and rotation of the screen, adjust the height in the range of 110 mm, and also convert the screen from landscape to portrait.
