ASUS VY249HE and VY279HE monitors are antibacterial
ASUS has announced the VY249HE and VY279HE Eye Care monitors for everyday use at home or in the office. The new items are made on the IPS matrix with a diagonal of 23.8 and 27 inches, respectively.
The panels have a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels – Full HD format. The brightness was 250 cd / m 2, the contrast – 1000: 1. The horizontal and vertical viewing angles reach 178 degrees.
The MPRT response time is 1 ms, the refresh rate is 75 Hz. Flicker-Free technology prevents flickering, while Low Blue Light reduces the intensity of blue backlighting, which reduces eye strain during extended use.
Feature of monitors – a special antimicrobial coating based on silver ions on the frame around the display and control buttons. It is said to kill more than 99.9% of bacteria within 24 hours. Moreover, the coating is durable.
The panels are equipped with HDMI 1.4 and D-Sub interfaces, as well as a headphone jack. The stand allows you to adjust the angle of the screen within a range of 28 degrees. The price was not disclosed.
