Both models will be built on a single-chip platform Qualcomm Snapdragon 865
Qualcomm back in February of this year revealed a list of potential new smartphones based on the flagship single-chip Snapdragon 865 system, including two Asus models – ZenFone 7 and ROG Phone III. Now, the Taiwanese publication Commercial Times has set an approximate date for the announcement of devices.
Asus ZenFone 7 and ROG Phone III will be released in July
It is reported that smartphones will debut at the very end of the second quarter or at the very beginning of the third. July is ideal for such a vague timeline. If so, then the devices will appear on store shelves in late July or August. There are no details about the specifications of these models, but the publication notes that Asus expects ROG Phone III’s sales to grow by 30-50% compared to its predecessor. So, the novelty should be much more interesting than last year’s smartphone.
