The manufacturer is already working to fix the problem.
As we already reported, Sigma discovered the “incomplete compatibility” of seven lenses of the Art line with the Nikon D6 full-frame SLR camera. A message about this was published on the company’s website. Somewhat earlier, a similar message was “pleased” by Tamron.
At least two Tamron lenses also do not work with the Nikon D6 camera, as we would like
This Japanese manufacturer confirmed that two of its lens models do not work properly with the Nikon D6, which began selling on the Japanese market on June 5.
We are talking about the model’s SP 35mm F / 1.4 Di USD (Model F045) for Nikon and 17-35mm F / 2.8-4 Di OSD (Model A037) for Nikon. According to the manufacturer, the autofocus function does not work when the camera’s power is turned on after installing the lens with the camera’s power off. In addition, autofocus does not work when the camera returns from sleep mode.
The manufacturer is already working to resolve these issues. He apologizes to all users and potential buyers for the possible inconvenience associated with them and promises to inform about their elimination.
