Authors Verdun and Tannenberg Unveil Historic Network Shooter Isonzo
M2H and Blackmill Games have announced Isonzo, an online shooter set in the First World War. The game belongs to the same series, which includes Tannenberg and Verdun. The project will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and S before the end of the year.
Isonzo will take place in the mountains on the Italian front. The game was inspired by the struggle for control of the Isonzo River Valley and the Alps during World War I. The new Offensive mode will take you to the center of historical battles, where you have to attack the enemy or defend in the middle of the Italian landscape.
Blackmill Games promises to convey this period based on research and field visits authentically. As the studio said, Isonzo will be realistic in everything: from uniforms to a huge arsenal. You will have access to mortars, artillery weapons, air support, and poisonous gas bombing.
