Auto HDR feature on new Xbox but not on PlayStation 5 now available on PC

More than 1000 games at once

Next-gen Xbox consoles support the unusual Auto HDR feature  that adds HDR support to older games. This function automatically boosts the brightness of specific areas of the picture up to 1000 cd / m 2 .

Auto HDR feature on new Xbox but not on PlayStation 5 now available on PC

This feature is reportedly coming to Windows now. Moreover, the function will work even in DirectX 11. In fact, the gamer only needs a suitable monitor. The feature is already working in the Windows 10 Insider build (21337), and will later appear in the final version. 

Microsoft claims the feature will work in over 1,000 games.
