Improved logistics
The Russian AvtoVAZ plant has optimized the production of Lada Vesta NG and Lada Niva cars, as reported by the Atypical AvtoVAZ insider public on the VKontakte social network.
In the main building, the transfer of the first and third lines took place: the main assembly operations for cars of the Niva family are now focused on 1–3 inserts, and for Vesta they are carried out at 3–7. This made it possible to seriously optimize the logistics processes.
Earlier it became known that the assembly volume on line 1, where Lada Vesta NG is produced, will increase in autumn from 40 to 60 vehicles per hour. This will become possible with the resumption of production of Lada Largus, which AvtoVAZ has scheduled for September this year. The design capacity of this conveyor is 60 cars per hour.

AvtoVAZ denied the information that the dates for the return of the ABS system to Lada Granta cars are being shifted to a later period, and also commented on information about interruptions in the production of Lada Vesta NG .
“Atypical AvtoVAZ” in the past was the first to report the resumption of production of Lada Niva, incomplete Lada Granta and complete set of “Moskvich 3”.
