BenQ has announced the release of the TH685 projector, which is positioned as a display device for game consoles. The projector creates a luminous flux of 3500 lm so that the image it forms is visible even insufficiently bright ambient light. At the same time, BenQ LumiExpert technology automatically adjusts the brightness of the projector depending on the ambient light.
The TH685 projector features reflecting its gaming focus include low latency (8.3 ms) and Game Picture Mode, in which contrast is increased and a gamma curve is selected that allows you to better see details in dark areas of the frame. The projector supports HDR and connects via HDMI 2.0. It covers 95% of the Rec. 709. A 5W Trevolo loudspeaker and equalizer are integrated into the projector.
The resolution of TH685 is 1920 x 1080 pixels, the refresh rate is 120 Hz. The light source has been declared equal to 15,000 hours. The projector is fully compatible with Sony PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One X and Google Stadia. It costs $ 800.
