BioWare will not add cut love lines to Mass Effect Legendary Edition

In recent days, developers at BioWare have been actively talking about how the Mass Effect Legendary Edition will differ from the original trilogy. They have already announced changes to some camera angles and the lack of multiplayer from ME3. And now it became known that the creators decided not to add the cut novels to the remasters.

As a reminder, two weeks ago, Mass Effect 2 writer Brian Kindregan revealed that BioWare was planning to make Jack the girl in the game pansexual. However, the leadership did not dare to take this step due to criticism of US television’s first part.

At the Legendary Edition private press show, Engadget asked the developers if they planned to add cut love lines to the remasters, including Jack for Shepard, the woman. The creators responded: “The plot variability of the series has not changed in the Legendary Edition than the original trilogy” It turns out that BioWare did not correct the previous branches of the protagonist’s intimate relationships with different partners, but did not add new ones either. Most likely, this solution will satisfy the fans.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition will be released on May 14, 2021, on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. System requirements for the PC version of the collection can be found here.
