Users report that wireless charging is constantly interrupted every few seconds

Samsung released a software update for the Galaxy S20 Ultra and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra last month, after which some users started complaining about wireless charging issues. Recently, the number of complaints has increased.

The issue is mainly related to third party wireless chargers that firmware updates have stopped working with Galaxy S20 Ultra and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Not everyone faces these issues, and there are no issues with original Samsung wireless chargers.

Users report that wireless charging is constantly interrupted every few seconds. That being said, the problem has not occurred before with the same third-party wireless chargers.

The issue is reportedly not resolved by rebooting the device, clearing the cache, or even resetting the phones to factory settings. Fortunately, the problem affects relatively few phones.

James Drissel of the XDA-Developers forum found a possible solution to the problem. According to his post, it is enough just to disable NFC.
