Call of Duty: Warzone banned over 13 thousand cheaters in anticipation of bonuses and updates
Activision Blizzard and Raven Software have announced another wave of bans in Call of Duty: Warzone Battle Royale. More than 13,000 accounts have been blocked today.
Raven Software continues to fight fraud. This month alone, the developer has already carried out five waves of bans. The exact number of blocked accounts is currently unknown, but as of February 2, 2021, there were over 300,000 of them worldwide.
The latest banning wave comes before Bonus Weekends in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone, followed by a content update next week. XP Doubling, Weapon, and Battle Pass will be available on all target platforms from March 26 to March 29, but PlayStation console users will receive a bonus 24-hour early access starting March 25.
According to the leak, Call of Duty’s current season: Warzone, will be the last in which the action takes place in Verdansk. At the end of the second season, the map will take on a different look – in the style of the 80s, with new locations from the Black Ops sub-series.
Call of Duty: Warzone is a shareware model for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and S.
