Capcom has named the official growth of Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village – the lady was even taller than expected
Artistic director of Resident Evil Village Tomonori Takano in the official microblogging of the series commented on the interest of fans in Lady Dimitrescu in general and her growth in particular.
Recall that the colorful lady attracted the attention of the community to herself after the teaser trailer for the Resident Evil Showcase, in which she hardly passes through a doorway that is too low for her.
The surprisingly tall lady overnight became the subject of heated discussions (including those related to growth) and numerous folk creations – illustrations, videos, and so on.
As Takano admitted, Capcom did not expect such an interest in Dimitrescu and her daughters: the ladies made a splash both in their homeland in Japan and overseas, which delighted the developers a lot.
As for the height of Lady Dumitrescu, Kotaku journalist Ash Parrish tried to calculate him at the end of January, but, as it turned out, she was a little mistaken in her calculations.
According to Takano, the height of Dumitrescu, taking into account the hat and high heels (they are hidden under a long skirt), is approximately 290 cm. For comparison: Parrish assumed that the lady rises above the ground by 244 cm.
The release of Resident Evil Village is expected on May 7 this year on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and S. Judging by the information on the Valve service page, the PC version of the game will be released entirely in Russian.
