Registration opens today for the online multiplayer game Battlegrounds Mobile India, which is the Indian version of one of the most popular games of recent years – PUBG Mobile.

The developers from Krafton have announced new game modes and maps. Earlier it was reported that Battlegrounds Mobile India will receive exclusive content, as well as unique costumes and features. The game will have its own esports ecosystem with tournaments and leagues.
The new game mode specifically for India will be called Metro Royale. It will be based on the setting of the famous shooter Metro Exodus. Players will fight in the underworld with spike traps, melee throwing weapons, and more.
Last year, PUBG Mobile and other apps were banned in India. Battlegrounds Mobile India will be similar in many ways to PUBG Mobile, the game will be available on iOS and Android devices. In addition, the studio behind the game will also offer special rewards for those who pre-register, however details have not been released yet.
Battlegrounds Mobile India will offer all the game modes that were present in PUBG Mobile, including the classic battle royale mode, team deathmatch and war. Notably, the company has also cut the size of the game from 1GB to 610MB.
Battlegrounds Mobile India will launch with a number of restrictions. Minors will be required to provide their parent’s or guardian’s phone numbers, and daily spending of time and money will be limited to 3 hours and approximately $ 95, respectively.
