Chrome browser lets you quickly open recently closed tabs

Google Chrome developers continue to improve the popular browser, adding useful features to it. This time it became known about the imminent appearance of the “Recently closed tabs” section, which will allow you to restore accidentally closed pages easily. At the moment, this feature has become available to users of the beta version of Chrome.

When working with many tabs, it is easy to get into a situation where you accidentally closed some pages that may still be required. It is not always easy to restore them, but Google intends to fix this in its proprietary browser. The recently closed tabs section will be merged with the tabbed search feature menu, which recently appeared in Chrome. After clicking on the corresponding icon, a context menu will appear at the top of the browser, allowing you to search through open tabs and contain a list of recently closed pages. The user needs to select the desired tab and click on it to reopen it in the browser window.

It’s worth noting that Chrome currently allows you to access the list of recently closed tabs using the browsing history menu. However, the new option for interacting with closed tabs will save a few mouse clicks so that browser users will receive it well.

This feature is currently available in the beta version of Chrome Canary 91.04472.0 for all software platforms. It is not yet known when this tool may appear in stable versions of the browser.
