Console players in CoD: Black Ops Cold War began to disable crossplay due to cheaters on PC

Console users of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War have started disabling crossplay due to PC cheaters. This was reported by several users of the Reddit forum. One of them posted a demo of auto-aiming in the game.

Users criticized PC players. They turned off the crossplay feature, noting that it is better to wait a few extra minutes while searching than ruining the match experience. The players also indicated that the owners of the PC versions managed to “spoil” the shooter during the week of beta testing.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War open testing began simultaneously on all platforms at the end of last week. It was supposed to end on October 19, but the developers have extended it until the evening of the 20th.

Recall that earlier the developers of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone reported 200 thousand blocked players due to cheats. It took less than a year to achieve such indicators. During the latest wave of lockdowns, the company banned about 20,000 people.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is slated for release on November 13th. The game will be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and PC. The system requirements for the project can be found in a separate material.
