Cougar unveils NxSys Aero gaming chair with built-in fan

Chills run down your back.

Cougar unveiled the NxSys Aero chair at Computex 2023. A 200mm RGB fan is installed in its back between two layers of mesh. The airflow is directed towards the middle of the back. The chair is not equipped with its own battery, the user is asked to power the fan from the mains, computer or portable battery.

Using the buttons, you can adjust the speed of the fans, as well as the color and mode of the backlight. The back of the chair reclines, and the base is fixed at an angle. The armrests have three degrees of freedom (up-down, forward-backward and turn). The neck pillow is held on by magnets. The estimated price of the chair is $400.

In addition to the NxSys Aero, Cougar introduced the Hotrod chair, which was probably inspired by motorsports. The peculiarity of the chair is that the back is divided into several zones, in which fillers of different hardness are used. The outer (rear) surface of the chair back is solid and made of fiberglass (FRP).

Another model – Armor Evo – is interesting in that it does not provide a separate pillow for the lower back, but the back bend in this place can be adjusted with two regulators: in height and in camber.

Also at the company’s stand one could see a massive chair Sofa Ranger Pro (on the first photo). It has pockets, a USB Type-C connector and the ability to install a tray on any of the armrests.

In addition to the seats, Cougar displayed the military-style body of the Panzer 800 at the show .
