It’s coming to PC tomorrow

Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart will no longer be a PlayStation 5 exclusive tomorrow. The project will be released on PC on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Despite the fact that the game was originally created for the PS5, which is based on the AMD platform, the project is now actively advertised by Nvidia.

And all because Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart will support all modern Nvidia technologies. This is DLSS 3, and ray tracing, and Nvidia Reflex. Including the game will support RTX IO – a technology that allows the video card to receive data directly from the SSD, bypassing the processor. RTX IO is based on the DirectStorage API, a set of tools within DirectX 12.

Created for AMD GPUs, but in the end got all the best Nvidia technologies.

Despite the game’s active use of ray tracing technology, Nvidia promises over 140 fps (and even over 200 fps) in 4K resolution at maximum graphics settings. True, this will require a GeForce RTX 4080 or RTX 4090 and DLSS 3 activation.

The game will also support 21:9, 32:9, and 48:9 aspect ratio screens when it comes to PC.
