Recall that Curious Expedition 2 hit Steam Early Access in the summer of 2020 – June 17 – and spent almost seven and a half months in a pre-release state. The full version will go on sale on January 28, 2021.

The cost of the release edition of Curious Expedition 2 will be 449 rubles ($ 20) – exactly the same amount the project was sold for throughout its entire stay in Steam Early Access.

Build 1.0 will offer many improvements, balance tweaks, and bug fixes, as well as support for Steam achievements and community items (trading cards, badges, and so on).

The developers also agreed that version 1.0 will not be final: Maschinen-Mensch is already working on content updates that will be released over the coming months.

“We’re thrilled to announce that Curious Expedition 2 will be out in just two weeks! Making the game itself was a journey. We wish all the adventurers the best of luck, ”added Maschinen-Mensch producer Lorenzo Pilia in a press release.

As for the previously announced console versions of Curious Expedition 2, then, as announced in December, the project will appear on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch before the end of 2021.
