Cyberpunk 2077 will take up less than 200 GB of hard disk space – full system requirements will be published soon

Community Manager CD Projekt RED Marcin Momot in his microblog commented on players’ concerns about the requirements of Cyberpunk 2077 for hard disk space.

Momota was prompted to speak out on the voiced topic by the discussion on Reddit of the Cyberpunk 2077 frame shown during yesterday’s presentation by NVIDIA with the caption  “200 GB games”.

Users quickly assumed that the upcoming action RPG CD Projekt RED would need exactly that much hard disk space (the situation with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is still fresh in memory ), but Momot denied the theory.

“The game will not take 200 GB after installation. You can expect that requests for free space on the hard disk [for Cyberpunk 2077] will be at the level of other modern projects, ” Momot assured.

In the comments under his post, the CD Projekt RED community manager clarified that he meant less than the announced value. In addition, according to Momot, the studio will publish the full system requirements for Cyberpunk 2077 in the near future.

Among other things, as part of yesterday’s presentation by NVIDIA, the developers of Cyberpunk 2077 published a trailer for the game, designed to demonstrate the power of the new video cards from the “green” manufacturer.

Cyberpunk 2077 is expected to be released on November 19 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and GeForce Now. The full version of the project for next-generation consoles will be available in 2021.
